I unlocked several phones from gsmphonesource, and the service was great; however, I requested one for an international carrier on 03/06 and I still haven't received the code. I tried contacted them in several occasions with no luck. The thing that bothers me the most is that I contacted him even through AIM today. He responded when I asked if he was online. But when I sent him the request for my problem he never answered. I don't think this is a good way of doing business.
Regards!

how to use my unlocked curve on t-mobile?
hi, i hate to sound so ignorant, given that you guys seem like some kind of bb wizards! but i just got my awesome curve 8300, it's unlocked, but now i can't browse the net!!! everything else works great, call clarity is flawless, but without the ability to browse - the device is useless to me! please tell me what to do, i know you've probably explained this many times - a link would be great. I'm really desperate here. (i found info about dowloading OS or something, i have that link, but then what do i do and how? )

send or resend service books. Or go to Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table and click Register Now.

And welcome to the BBF, evemarie!
Also for you: Internet Browser FAQ - BlackBerryFAQ
Sometimes, just pulling the battery while powered on, replace and reboot will install the service books you need.
Good luck.

Well I just went with Adam's company GSMUnlock, last night I tried the unlockblackberry.org and have not heard anything at all from this guys and its been 18hrs so I'm a bit worried and since I didn't want to wait a MONTH, I went with Adam, I'll be filing a claim with paypal if this guys goes over the time required for Paypal to investigate. Again thanks BlackberryForums

Unlocks for devices outside North America do take about 8-10 days, sometimes quicker like five, but that is not guaranteed by any of the unlocking services that I know of... no way around that. You should no have to leave your device with anyone.

In order for the device to even accept the sim card it has to be unlocked. The only way to get internet and email is to subscribe to a BB data plan with your carrier.

No unlocking for Verizon, right?
Am I correct in my assessment that there is no way to unlock a Verizon Curve?

CDMA phones can't be, nor do they need to be unlocked. Most CDMA carriers don't allow other carriers phones on their networks. The exception is the 8830 World Phone as it has a GSM portion for international travelling. The GSM portion is locked on Verizon but can be unlocked with a phone call to Verizon.
