Adding New Info to Contacts

Okay, I'm pretty good with these things, but I can't figure this one out. Let's say I get an email from someone I already have in my address book, but contained in the email is a different phone number or other piece of new info that is not already in their entry. Is there a way to add info to an existing entry without having to leave the email and copy and paste it? Obviously, there is "add to address book", but that always go straight to a new entry.
Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Edit: and yes, I've tried looking through the FAQ and conducting a few searches, but it's possible I missed it somewhere.
