Default 8330 on Verizon users

I haven't been on this site for awhile, it has changed!

Finally Verizon has a Blackberry with a camera and I'm probably going to get it. Any comments on it? Has anyone that has it, especially on Verizon, had any problems or issues with it?

Thanks, and if there are threads/posts that I haven't found yet, please don't throw anything at me.

Not sure about other threads. I'm sure they are out there. I am on Verizon and love the curve so far. Camera is helpful. The OS and the trackball are making the big difference to me.

Thanks, what is different about the OS? I looked at one yesterday and the trackball is interesting, seemed ok to me.

I didn't think I would like the trackball. But, for examole, when viewing the daily calendar, I can scroll forward or backward by day without taking the cursor to the top of the screen first. And when typing and going back to make a correction, it is easier to get the cursor where I need it. No scrolling by line/character, just go where you need to and push the ball.

The ringtones also are better. If I assigned a specific ringtone to my wife, it would play that even if I was in a vibrate them. Now it changes to vibe.

I purchased the 8330 the day it came out (with Verizon) and I absolutely love the phone. The only issue I've had was figuring out how to syn with my Mac (MissingSync) but otherwise the phone rocks... I do wish they would come out with a better frakkin browser though...

I'm not a fan, but others like the opera mini browser. Free so it can't hurt to give it a try.

What issues have you had with the browser? Do you mean getting around on the web?

I think the browser is pretty good actually. I really like how you can move the cursor like a mouse with the trackball. Soooo much better that the 8700 I'm coming from.

Well, I am looking forward to getting it. I just finished ordering it on-line, so I'll have it in a few days. Thanks so much to all that replied!
