Default Some 7250 questions(probably easy)

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all. First thing I want to thank all that post here, it is because of this and other forums like this I decided to buy a berry and not a treo and I could not be happier
1) How can I take a recieved call or e-mail address and enter it into my existing contact list. is copy and paste the only way??
2) Are there any pc applications that will sync with the berry that can be used to change calender events, tasks, bookmarks etc...
3) Does anyone know of any other themes for my verizon 7250 besides orange and vodafone???
Thanks in advance for all your help

1) You can do C&P or in the Call Log, click the whell and select Add to Address Book
2) On the CD that came with the BB is the Desktop Manager. DM includes Intellisync that can sync calendar, tasks, notes and the addbress book from Outlook, Notes, and a few other desktop PIMS. No way to sync Bookmarks.
3) I am not even going there. There are two trillion threads on themes. Search for Jibis new thread on Themes.

I have tried every one.

I use the original one that came with the BB (I have the 7290).
I am used to it. I can move around icons and not have to worry about submenus (which I hate). I liked the Orange colors, but not the menu structure.

Is there any way to sync with other data management software? Ideally, I'd love to find an open source method of synching directly with palm os (which i actually like), or synching with mozilla's calendar suite.

oh.. and can we load firefox onto the bb?

Menow - Intellisync syncs to a few other PIMs, but not to Palm Desktop or Mozilla. And there is no Firefox browser for the BB.

still having problems with the address book. I cant seem to take an address and easily put it with an existing contact from the calls list or the messages page. It seems I have to remember the info and go to edit contact or c&p.... there must be an easier way!!!

thats week!!! somebody should come up with a program to make that easier.
more questions.
1)Is there a better web browser out there than the one that comes as the default. if not what are the settings that maximize content and speed? when i put all of the settings on it runs slow.
2) anyone know how to take my yahoo.mail addresses and put them quickly into outlook or perhaps direct to the berry?

As long as its a 7250 thread...

Is there a way to select on the BB (I've found the web tool to choose), what "sending" email account I use? With business and personal messages (on their respective accounts) coming into the device, it would be nice to send from the corresponding account on the fly.

Many thanks.

Gah, when did that happen? Their site has to be up to get a new unlock code when you re-install their software. I just did the OS upgrade and haven't unlocked mine yet. Sure I have the Nextel Internet Browser but I like the option of having both.

EDIT: Looks like they are still around.. http://www.reqwireless.com/

I was able to re-register with no problem.

Good for you on re-registering. I upgraded my OS yesterday, lost the webviewer and two other 3rd party apps (Bible Viewer & Sol Mania). The keyex site won't take my last keys. I had the same problem after a previous OS upgrade and was able to get a new key to exchange from the company. If they are gone, I can't see the point of trying that. I'll live with the NOL browser. So far, so good with that.
