Unhappy How to install application with multi ".cod" files

Please Login to Remove!

The version of my DM is 4.3.0.15, and I try to install trekbuddy_bb_v42_0.9.78, after unzip, there are 5 files in it:
trekbuddy_bb_v42.alx
trekbuddy_bb_v42.cod
trekbuddy_bb_v42-1.cod
trekbuddy_bb_v42-2.cod
trekbuddy_bb_v42-3.cod

After installed with DM, there is icon of Trekbuddy on BB, but when I select "Load Atlas", there is Exception on screen.
Checking the install status of TrekBuddy with DM, it is "renew" not "installed"
Then entering detailed info, the status of all 4 ".cod" files except
"trekbuddy_bb_v42.cod" are both "uninstalled", I don't know why.
So I continued running install again without uninstall it, after installation is finished, nothing is changed, those 3 ".cod" file are also in "uninstalled" status.

I'm not sure why it's acting up but, do you have a media card? If so you can uninstall trekbuddy from your device and reinstall it from the media card.

Download the jad file from the site you downloaded the archive of cod and alx files. (If you can't find it or don't see one, I've added it at the bottom. Just save it as a .jad file.) Delete the alx file from the folder with the cods and add the jad. Move the folder from your PC to your media card. Go to the media section on your device and explore. Open the folder containing the jad and cod files. Click the jad file and then hit download. Once it's installed you can delete the folder from the media card.

(I put a screen shot showing that my network and wifi connection were off just to show that it does not use data but it looks like an OTA install.)

But how can I generate ".jad" file for other applications with multi ".cod" files?

There is a thread somewhere around the forums that breaks it down. Just follow the template of the one your have (open it with notepad). If the application only has one cod, you might have to unzip it to get the other cods. To get the file size of the cod files right click the cod and click properties. Use the first size in bytes (not the size on disk).

Then how about the RIM-COD-SHA1 code for each ".cod" file

I don't think you need all that. I think you just need the cod name and size.

Edit: I just tested it (with all the "RIM-COD-SHA1" lines taken out) and the application installed correctly.
