Default New 7130?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all. Trying to decide between the new Pearl (with Wifi) or the Curve but I have realized I prefer the keyboard and screen size of the 7130. Does anymore know any scuttlebut on a new version of the 7130 or any other 7 series Blackberry or is the Pearl, Curve and 8000 series are only options for the forseeable future?

You will never see a new 7xxx BlackBerry. Those devices are several generations old now.
The Pearl is already on its second generation as well as the 88xx series.

It's time for you to switch to a more current device.

I agree, I'm holding on to my 7130 because of the larger keys and display size. I tried the Pearl and there's no way it will work because of my large fingers. I may go with the Curve when Verizon releases it next month.

Either way, all the newer gen BB devices have smaller keys with less space between them.

I had a 7130 that I loved, but it was a bit clunky. I switched to a pearl 2 and had minimal problems changing. I am not a small guy and really dont have too much of a problem. it seems the suretype is better on this one.

I'll stick to my old, reliable 7130c. If I want photos, I have great cameras. GPS? I have one. WiFi? PC and laptop. For great communication, reliability, durability (that's what cell phones are for), the 7130c (ATT).

The question was if there will be any more 7xxx series BlackBerrys. Not whether or not you loved them.

There won't be. Technology moves forward or dies. RIM has already moved forward. You should too.
