also if I install this will my BIS att service automatically setup my email like when I first booted my 8820 ? or does it delete all ATT related BB servers stuff?
Can I install this OS on my Att blackberry 8820? Also will the Tmobile apps be on it then?

Depends if you choose to save your old stuff. If you backup and reload then all your old will be there. I Like doing fresh installs though
However, I'm using Beiks medical software and ALL their software reverted to the "freeware, 7-day trial" version! Nevertheless, I still had all the activation codes and had to reactivate the 4 programs. *phew*

Always save your activation codes. That is common on 3rd party apps after an upgrade.
Is anyone having battery drain issues with version .193 from T-Mobile? It coule be coincidental, but it seems I have much worse battery performance of .193 over .169. Any others have this experience? If so, any suggestions?
I know this doesn't relate since I have the 8800, but how do I go about upgrading my OS version if I say, have a mac? I do have a windows install, but I take pride in that it hasn't been accessed in about six months

To upgrade your OS you're going to have to use Windows. Unfortunately the only way to upgrade your OS on a Mac is if you're running an Intel based Mac with a dual boot running Windows on it.

Well it does work with virtualisation software like vmware or parallels, but essentially, yes.
i bought an unlocked BB 8820 with att software. is there any way i can put t-mobile software on to it?? i want to do this so i can use my t-mobile hotspot@home service.
You can install any OS you want. However, you can't use uMA on another carriers unlocked device. The settings needed are hard coded to the device. Sorry.
