Hi,

I'm new here but I used to have an old "big" color BlackBerry some years ago. My question is this: I just switched back to RIM after buying the BlackBerry Pearl "8130e" and I'm wondering what's the difference between the 8130 and 8130e?

Are there any vast improvements that make "e" better? I can find a lot of general Pearl information but nothing on my many searches could point out what exactly the 8130e is compared to the other 8100's.

There's no difference.
There's also no 8130e ... it's just an 8130.

There was a 7130e and an 8703e ... but then the e was dropped with the introduction of the 8830.

The e was an abbreviation of EVDO.

Thanks a lot. That helps me out because when I was shopping for a new-in-the-box Pearl I saw a lot of 8130 and only a few "8130e."
