i just updated the desktop software and now my curve wont sync with outlook...it wont even let me set it up for outlook it gives me an error..why?

we need a bit more information. did you upgrade to 4.3 in Desktop manager. what OS do you have, were there any errors in installation?

4.3 still has bugs in it, i recommend just staying with 4.2 service pack 2, it seems to be the most stable of all the versions and give you everything you need in terms of media and syncing capabilities.

it says comes up with a windows error and it is windows xp desktop manager 4.3

I would stick with DM 4.2SP2 like Sith said ^^.

Hi, I am having a similar problem. I just re-loaded both desktop and BB software onto my PC and when I try to synchronize it's giving me a "??????(???)" error.

Is it not recognizing the password? Any idea how to fix it?

I am using the 4.2.2 desktop software with .180 BB Curve software on t-mobile.

4.3 is defective. Uninstall it and install 4.2. 4.5 recently announced. Hopefully it fixes the 4.3 mess.
