Default Slow key response on texts

Please Login to Remove!

I have noticed that lately, when replying to a text...the keys are slow to respond on the first 20 strokes or so. It doesnt seem to happen when I start a text..only when replying.

Any words of advice?

Lagging is almost always memory. Check your memory. Menu>Options>Status (what is your file free?) If it's less that 15mb then
start here.

How do I free up memory on my device? - BlackBerryFAQ.com

After do a hard reset (battery pull with the device on) and report back.

Good luck!

A lot of times low memory may be the culprit, but I've had the issue myself and my available memory never drops below 20MB... A reset usually does the trick for me, don't even need to do the battery pull, most times a cap + enter + del will work just fine.

Odd thing is, I send more emails than txt messages and I have yet to have this problem when typing an email.

Or just try closing any unused applications.
