Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Hi everyone. My co-worker's blackberry 8700g is in an endless spinning hourglass loop. Nothing loads up, and then it resets.
So I've been tasked with fixing it.

I've run through everything in the awesome faq on this site with no results. The phone will not connect to the computer, whether through the application loader, the desktop manager, Jl comander, or JDE javaloader. Nothing. Any ideas? I've done this with the battery in, the battery out, plugged into a usb hub, directly into my computer, still nothing. No connection. I don't remember the exact error code, but I believe it was something along the lines of 0x080400.

Any ideas would be great. Sorry for rambling, but this thing just has me perplexed. Thanks

If Jl_cmder won't work, then this should:
What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ

If neither of those, then you probably are not doing it correctly.

My old 8703e did that and I had to take it to a Sprint store and they gave me another one.
It really pays to have the service plan if your provider offers one. I think I pay $4.00 per month for it. I also had to exchange a 8130 that was defective.

Okay. So I got the apploader to recognize and run on the phone. I've rebooted my computer, and that seems to have fixed the problem of the phone being recognized by the computer.

Java apps are loading now. And I'm crossing my fingers...

Hmm. I was waiting for the phone to load up after the Application Loader completed, and it's just still keeps showing the hourglass and reseting every 3 minutes or so...

I'm just lost.
