There is a thread here somewhere about all the SureType words that get mixed up like that.

guy/hit
hat/gay

You may also want to turn off Predictive Text. I hated that since it kept popping words up on me (I used other SureType devices that didn't have Predictive Text).
To turn it off, click on the Options icon, then Language, then Input Options button. Uncheck the Predictive Text option.
Until you're using to SureType, having this off might be easier, IMO.

By default if you try to type DF AS GH it will produce a derogatory term (in the older version of the OS) if you have an 8120 or 8130 it might be fixed.
Well I am honored to be in your custom word list!

There will be some key combinations that will give you the wrong word - like you may get 'see' when you want 'are'. But you can just scroll to the right and select the one you really want.
|
Also look thru Auto Text in Options, Lots of good shortcuts there. If you type AS ER (se) then space, auto text will change it to see. Then if you type AS ER ER you should get are. If you type GH ER L (hel) you will get he'll. The list goes on.
Also if the first option is one you don't want, like ginger keeps coming up first but you use hunger much more often, type the letter combo, select the word you want, repeat 3x and it will reshuffle the order.
You will end up loving it!

If you're in a big hurry, and you're not used to suretype, you end up saying AHH! Take it off! That's how I was too my first day..
Then again I went from a T9 keyboard to a suretype one, which oddly enough isn't easy.
It's all a matter of being conscious of what you're typing at first I think

I didn't think mods could have a break room, cuz none of them would be able to fit their heads through the door?
I'm kidding =) Other forums it seems that way though lol
Hero may have been a stretch, but that's ok

So I'm a GEEK and I consider myself pretty proficient with a BB, but I hated this thing. I couldn't figure out how to get this thing off...I'm great with SureType but this was bothering me. Thanks a lot!
