Default Device freezes and restarts randomly

Please Login to Remove!

My 8800 randomly will freeze, not even when it is doing something and will also just randomly reset as well.

What can i do?

I've tried installing latest OS, wiping device, everything... need help!

resets ? as in it actually resets? or it hangs up (as in it freezes) and then you loose your sms's and call log? could we have a few more details?

Right after it resets though try alt + LGLG and see if there is anything obvious in the log

Following remote44's lead, check available memory. See How do I free up memory on my 8800? - BlackBerryFAQ.com if necessary.

the first thing if you haven't done it is to remove the battery for 5 min to let the device discharge completely

the second thing i would personally try is borrow a battery from someone and see if the problem is still there i had a laptop that even plugged in with the batter would crash a new batter solved that problem

did you check the log? as soon as the device resets check the event viewer ALT + LGLG and see what is taking place at the time of the log some of the more experienced debuggers here might be able to decipher the log better then me...
