Is anyone here from Pakistan. I'm in USA right now and i wanted to know what the charges for BIS are in Pakistan. As I understand, UPhone and Mobilink are the only two companies that provide BB services there. There websites don"t say how much they charge and what kind of plans do they offer. If anyone knows please help me out.

BIS by mobilink is Rs 1000 per month with unlimited usage.
Ufone still hasnt launched their BB service yet.

Ahmad but u have to buy BB from Mobilink Then u able to use BIS in Pakistan other BB like Unlock just using a Standard Phone and Mobilink charge 1000 rs for month

I'm in the military, and when I went to Pakistan 2 years ago, we had a BES service with GPRS coverage. We were in Kabul though. It would probably depend on your location, and service provider. Our devices were locked down, so I don't know if there are providers with BIS functionality.

i will be living in Karachi. . . yeah i'm getting my phone unlocked. and is it necessary to buy the phone from mobilink or is it possible to use to you own phone.

BIS - Rs.1000
BES - Rs.1500
BES+ - 1650

Warid Telecom:
BIS - Rs.1000
BES - 1500
BES+ - 15000

Ufone:
BIS - Rs.900
BES - 1400

You can use your own phone on Warid's network if its unlocked.

The charges are standard for unlimited usage i.e. Rs 1,000 approx. $13 for the operators in Pakistan. Pretty cheap but you shall need a unlimited voice and data roaming package for your connection if you want to use it in the united states. That will cost a little more as operators will ask for security deposit money.

You can have your monthly payments charged to your credit cards also by Warid on the due date. This makes life simple.

If you want Blackberry service in Pakistan, then go for Mobilink.

If you really ask me then I have personally used both Mobilink's and Warids BIS service and i really feel there is a major diffrence . For me Warid is much better as I feel that the BIS customer support is always there to help while in Mobilink it keeps you waiting and then it even closes down after evening timings .

To get the best prices on BlackBerry in Pakistan you should try out homeshopping.pk they are direct importers and are giving unlocked phones at much better prices then the market and the network providers. You can buy the phone online and they can deliver anywhere in Pakistan.

Youmight have the largest collection of BB's and might be the largest online store in Pakistan, BUT your customer services are not at all good.

Infact , NO Customer Service at all.

I placed an order on your website in the morning and waited for the confirmation. I even send 3 emails to customer service but no reply.

So Guys be careful from this website. It might be fake.

Well Shayaan is right. He called me up and fullfilled my demand. I'm impressed by his service.

I'm interested in 8330 (black) or 8350i (black). I visited homeshopping.pk but couldn't find this phone. Do you have these available? If not, can you get the 8330 or 8350i in Black? If you can quote me on it first.
