do a search on here for gsmphonesource.com. You have to get the device unlocked.

You pop the pearl out of the front and it goes in there.

I don't know about TMO but with AT&T as long as your account is 90 days old and in good standing they will provide you the code for free. Just tell them you are traveling out of the country for work and will need to access another network. And ask NICELY!!!

I've gotten 6 codes within 120 days. Don't think that 90 days rule applies anymore.

Why do you need to unlock the phone so many times?
I thought once you have unlocked your phone, then you are done, you could use any sim card and anytime.

Is this correct assumption?

Thanks

You are indeed correct, however I was not referring to one specific device. This is in reference to 6 different blackberrys. 4 original purchases, and 2 that had to be exchanged within the 30 day period. Never had a problem.

You can call AT&T without an account and they'll get you unlock code I have done this serveral times. You should use this link to get your unlock code
HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, Canada’s Cellular Repair Center ß

not to bash Adam at gsmphonesource but they have better communication skills there.
