Default Quick Keyboard Lock?

Please Login to Remove!

Without going to menu, then keyboard lock... Is there a key you hold down or something to quickly lock the keys?

Thanks

you can change the left/right side convenience key from VAD/camera to lock under options > screen/keyboard

You can also use the keyboard shortcut 'K' on the home screen.

Be sure to set Dial from Home Screen to "No".

Changing to the convenience key to lock is nice but then you are losing out on one of the two convenience keys...

I have installed Autolock on my 8310 and it works fine. The program was written for the 8100 series but works without a hitch on my phone. It autolocks the keyboard (X) seconds after the backlight goes dim. Very good program, if you search the forums here I'm sure you will find it.

Default Keyboard Lock shortcut

First, disable the language shortcut by going to options -> language.

After doing that, pressing alt + enter will activate the keyboard lock.

ooo that's a good one--

the way to get your side convenience key to do it (which i have trained many grateful ppl on) is to go to options-->screen/keyboard-->convenience key---> select "lock" or "keyboard lock"

otherwise it's on voice dial (by default) and that's annoying...plus, when it's your side convenience key, if you forget to lock it it usually gets locked on its own bc it will get hit in the purse/pocket/by your hand.

All the pearls lock by just pressing and holding the */sym key to the left of 0 (don't they?)

Very nice! Thanks for this tip. I had already programmed the left key to do this, and the right key to be my profiles, but I wanted one to be the camera key so this frees up one of these for the camera now!

Thanks.

PS: And as questioned above...what is the language shortcut for anyway?
