i think its going to plug into AC, like other stereo gateways. I have one on my home theater system right now and have no issues with battery life on my device. the gateway plugs into the AC current and uses RCA cables to connect to the amp

I've just noticed that streaming A2DP bluetooth from my BB kills the battery on my BB in no time.

strange, ive gone about 6 hours of continuous a2dp on my 8320, and still had 30+% battery left

UPDATE

It's made a silent (but deadly) entrance into the marketplace over at Tessco, where it's now available for $79. It still works the samexxx8212;plug in your speakers to the output jack, then stream music wirelessly from your BB. If you had this on Monday, you wouldn't have been so bored during the outage.
