Like I said... I don't intend any harm to them and I'm not trying to start a harmful false rumor... I just think something isn't right. Maybe by voicing this view out, maybe more and more people will request to keep their electronics and paint the new cases bought else where (cnn.cn). Or maybe they start selling cases? ![Idea](http://www.blackberryforums.com/images/smilies/icon_idea.gif)

The other reason i jsut thought of has to do with liability. If people send in parts, and then they break them putting them on, it would be easy to claim that Colorware broke them. Most people aren't gonna bother with dissasembling their phones either. We are the 1%ers who are comfortable doing it.
I think their business model really caters to the wealthy who want to personalize their electronics. These are the same people who have people to call their other people to set up their home theater systems. Doubtful that they would take the time to figure out how to disassemble their phone, nor want to.
You are right though, a business relationship between them and cnn.cn could open up a huge sales channel for colored replacement parts. I'm sure the margins would suck though! Not really the business I think they are aiming for.
