Default IMAP/Exchange on 8830

Please Login to Remove!

I an considering purchasing an 8830 for myself but would like to sync with my work mail/calender. We are running exchange 2007. I received an e-mail from our IT support dept that they have enabled IMAP on our exchange server and that we should now be able to access our mail on any IMAP enabled device. We are not running a BES or autoforwarding. Does this mean that I will be able to live sync with my exchange mail and outlook calender using the 8830?

Yes! you will be able to get your emails from exchange through imap, pop3,
EVEN WITHOUT YOUR MANUAL SYNCH. However, during email setup you going to specify your mail.yourdomain.com and type of mail protocol. After that, everything else is BB Bussiness. You do not to have to worry about it,it will be just fine. I have 4 e- mail accounts including exchange, and works perfect, no worries.I am not sure about Calendar synch, i guess they are different with outlook calendar.
