I noticed this strange icon on my Curve and I can't seem to find out what it is and get rid of it.

Can anyone tell me what it is?

Took a minute for the pic to show here....but yes, that is a voicemail icon.

Checking voicemail is probably the easiest way to clear it.

its def a voice mail. Call att and have them reset your voicemail

Also try pulling the battery. If that does not work, leave youself a voicemail and then listen and delete it and it may go way then, mine did!

Tried pulling the battery and calling myself but it doesn't work. I dont have voicemail.

Will try and call my carrier and check it out.

That should reset it and you should have voicemail because it is a free feature. (at least for T-Mobile it is.)

Has anyone had an issue when replaceing a battery they get the voicemail icon and go to check it and theres no voicemail?

it happend to me on some other phones never on the BB i found that if you check your voice mail and let the automated messeges run all the way just letting it stay connected for a minute will clear it sometimes
