Default Pearl Delays to Ring

Please Login to Remove!

HI everyone,

I just got my pearl, it was working fine, then today... when someone calls me, it vibrates once or twice then it starts ringing.. when it use to ring right away as it should! it does this for any profile......

any ideas? thx

Have you gone in to edit profiles and looked? Sounds like it is set to vobrate + tone. Don't know how you could change it without knowing, but that's what it sounds like.

Yes I did change it to that...... but it shouldn't delay like that.... my windows mobile device rang immediately and vibrated.... blackberry should be like that also in that case

the blackberry has nothing to do with a WM device. Its vibrate then ring on the blackberry.

The other thing you may also want to check is the size of the ringtone. Is it big? My bb was loading this big ringtone and playing it... There were problems. Then I learned to trim it and then everything was fine. Besides checking the ring profile that's the only thing that comes to mind. Good luck.
