Hi there,

I have 2 very simple questions I hope somebody would be able to answer.

We have Blackberry Manager 4.1.0.38 fully operational with synchronising of email to Blackberry devices working perfectly.

It is installed on an Exchange server (Exchange 2003 server Standard SP2) which we want to change from mixed mode to native mode.

Firstly: Will the Blackberry services and Blackberry functionality be affected by changing to native mode?

Secondly: We have a new Exchange 2003 SP2 server that will replace the current one once migration is complete, but I'd like to know... Does BES installation need to be done again and installed on the new Exchange server, or can the existing installation somehow be used? I presume not, but would like to confirm this if possible.

The first question is the one I'm really trying to get answered!

Will appreciate any thoughts and feedback from more experienced BES administators!

I installed BES 4.1.4 in a mixed mode ex2k win2k environment.

I justr added a ex2k3 server on win2k3 and went native on exchange and server ( albiet win2k native mode until I remove my win2k dc)

I haven't had as much as a glitch.

The links you've sent me answer all my questions more than perfectly!!
I really appreciate you sending me all this info.

Will let you know how things go, as have some other CRM and 3rd party functionality to investigate before going ahead with my migration, but it is really a major help to have this provided info!
