Default Calendar shows the wrong day

Please Login to Remove!

The calendar is showing the wrong day. The system date and clock appear correct and email show the correct date and time. When I open calendar it automatically goes to Oct. 27. If I select Go to Date and choose today's date it goes to Oct. 27. Any idea how to fix this?

I would recommend simply pulling the battery (with the device powered on) and replacing it, to reboot the device.

Then what?

Default I tried the battery pull

Did that several times with no change in behavior. I'm not sure what else to try.

Options > Date/Time. You are positive the date here is correct?

Default Date is correct everywhere except calendar

This is very odd. Yes, the date is correct in date/time prefs. It shows everywhere correctly except in the calendar. I use TMobile and will try the update to 4.2.2.180 and see if that makes any difference.

eh, first....

Do you sync with Outlook on your PC? If so, make sure the sync does NOT have checked, "update device date time automatically" on the first page of the Desktop Manager sync.

Then update the OS if you need. Backup and or sync first!

Default I do not sync with Outlook

I'm a Mac user and don't use Outlook. I do have a hosted BES service, but I don't sync with a PC. I do use Missing Sync. I have wireless sync turned off in the calendar options.

I have the same problem on my 8100 every once in a while. I've done the battery pull and my Outlook is setup properly. It's not a constant thing but it happens now and then

I have a Pearl and have noticed this, too. However, I noticed this only happens when you have no events for that day. If you have an event scheduled that day, the calendar opens to the correct day. Otherwise, it opens a date in the past. There doesn't appear to be a fix.

This is a known issue at least in Agenda view, with no appointments for the day.

Ahhh! and that is the only time it happens, when I have no appointment for the day.

Is there a fix on the way?

The only one I know of is to turn on the option to "Show Free Time"
