What do I lose if I erase the "pushed content"?

Not sure I fully understand what "pushed" means in this context, Blackberry that is.

Pushed as in sent automatically without your asking for it, or actively downloading it. Your email is pushed.

There are some browser alerts, weather alerts, you can get sports scores "pushed" to your BB by a pre-arrangment where you ask for it to be pushed to your device when it occurs, like a once a day weather forecast webpage.

i set up weather alerts to be pushed... how do i turn that off, and remove the icon from my applications?

good question, according to where you signed up from, you may need to go turn them off there. I know some carriers have those alerts, is that where you signed up?

not sure. when i click on the icon it loads a page from accuweather.com. i unsubscribed from it at accuweather.com, but the icon is still there.

Thanks, I was worried that if I erased it I would lose my saved messages too but it didnt seem to affect that.

if you've unsubscribed from mobile.blackberry.com, go to your browser and delete the associated bookmark under the "Browser Channels" folder

oh! awesome! thanks! is there any way to make my other bookmarks "browser channels"? i'd love to have a link to diggriver or orb on my homescreen.
