From the download page (i.e., pdp51os42.jad), scroll to the info area above the "Download" or "Cancel" radio buttons (i.e., where you find "Name", "Version", "Vendor", and "Size"). When you click, "Refresh" is a selection on the menu, which forces a refresh of what is contained in your local cache.

Any chance of getting a radar link added to the weather module in the new version?

The 4.1 version will be out later today. We'll look into the Del key when using empower.

CRS, any comments about the theme conflict. Do you think this is unique to this theme? Just curious otherwise you will have a lot of others questioning the two line title bar based on my experience.

We can't test against all the themes. I don't know why some work and some don't, but I'll ask RIM about it.

Something I just discovered concerning this after reading the discussion about themes and the two-line display...

I normally use the bPhone Zen theme, and two-line display had not worked. I switched to the Verizon theme, and the two-line display still did not work. I reverted to bPhone Zen, and now the two-line display works (not sure why all of a sudden...)! I like the readability and the additional information displayed in the two-line format.

All,

Beta version 5.17 has been released as has the BB OS 4.1 version. Links below. If you see 5.16 when you get the download screen, press refresh on the menu.

BB OS 4.2: http://www.pocketday.com/files/v5x/pdp51os42.jad

PD Ribbon still taking about 20 seconds to switch between views. This is so annoying - this is the only application where I have a performance problem. Is there any utility that I can load that will allow me to see what this thing is doing when I use the ribbon so that I can troubleshoot what's causing it?

crs,

Just downloaded 5.17 and the mulit line display for calendar entries is not working properly. Nothing is shown on the second line of the display it just takes up extra room in the display. I believe we were seeing two lines of text on 5.16.

Yes i have the same as mdlissner, the second line in the calendar display is blank, just a large blank space.

Thank you for adding the setting to allow the background color of the date to be different than the background color of the appointments on that date.

For those looking for it go to:
> Settings
> Colors/Fonts
> Calendar Day Label

Makes the display that much easier to read when you have contrasting colors set.

I downloaded the pocketday today and I think it is great so far. My question is this:

I have an 8130 Pearl running the v4.3.0.71 OS with the suretype keyboard. I accidentally hit the "b" key which moved my calendar back a day on the today summary screen. Is there a way to advance the day without having to exit and re-enter the app?

On the suretype keyboard I have used the "J" key for "jump" to move a day forward in the PD calender on the main screen.

I must be missing something because I cannot load the beta. It says it can't load a zip file or something. I give up.
