I'll take any help I can get. Can it be done? I can listen to some stations on my computer but not on my phone when I'm online. Why is that?

There is an XM Radio application that I know of, but as for FM/AM I have no clue. Sorry.

I guess this can work if you can get an internet based FM/AM feed (sort of like Radio Paradise) to play thru your audio ports, then it could work...I seen iPhone users do this.

Not sure about Blackberry's Internet.

Dude,
It at the XM site...but its like Radio Paradise where you get music streamed to your device thru WIFE or EDGE-i think connection. My friends with iPhones do this all the time. Sirius also has streams off their website.

Just go to the main website or google it.

I highly doubt that it works with Blackberries if you don't buy some expensive media application first. But iPhones do this right out of the box.

i think your talking about the "listen now" button on the xmradio.com website. Thats what I end up using at work when I'm next to a PC but I'd prefer to use it on my cell so I can have it with me as I walk around. I tried that method on the BB Browser as well as Opera... no go Still looking for that other app someone spoke of though. Nice that the iPhone allows it go work nicely... I just bought my first apple product ever last month (iMac), maybe its time for the iPod shuffle to get full/true internet too...

Yeah the iTouch does the same as the iPhone. But you need to be in a WIFI accessible location to get that. Which is why the iPhone got the EDGE advantage because you can still go online outside a WIFI area.

If I get my Curve to play YouTube videos I'll be happy and a pig in mud.

I've been trying to figure out the same thing and I think it's just because of the OS. The phones that operate off of Windows can use the online xm and streaming radio fine. If theres there an app that can allow the use of windows media player I think it would work fine but I don't know one.

The mediaPlayer from dollars5 Dollars 5 Complete has a great feature that allows streaming internet radio on the blackberry. They have an extensive database of available stations as well. AND, if you can find the core feed of your favorite streaming FM stations you can add them as well.

He is active on this board and communicates well with members to get things figured out.

No, you can add your own if you find the address, they just have a growing database of available ones to help people out.

I beleive one of the dollars5 threads gives an how-to on finding the usable url too.
