I like the plain Verizon theme, but is there any way that I can change the icons that are on the home page. I would like my address book to show up instead of the setup wizard. If anyone knows how to do this it would help me out a lot.
You can hide certain icons you don't want to see. If you have an older model with the trackwheel I believe if you press ALT and click the trackwheel (while on the home screen and while having the icon you want to manipulate highlighted) you will receive a menu with options to Hide or Move the icon. With the newer devices with the trackball you can press the menu key while highlighting the icon to get the same menu.
I have the new Pearl with the track ball. I know that I can get to the menu by clicking the menu button, but without clicking that button there is a home screen on my phone that has only 5 icons. I wanted to know if there is any way that I can change which icons are displayed on the home screen.
I believe those five icons correspond to the first five icons in the icon grid view. So if you hide the ones you don't want to see, or move the ones that you do want to see to the first five slots in the icon grid view, those will show as the five icons in the Zen-type theme you are using. You would have to press that menu button first to get to the icon grid view of all the icons, then you can move or hide the icons.

i'm using the dimension today theme. i've changed to the zen theme and rearranging icons does change them on the home page but the today theme has them locked.
