Default BB8830 Video w. MicroSD

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,
Can anyone tell me how to (if it's possible) transfer a DVD I have onto my MicroSD card in a format playable by the 8830 for Verizon? I fooled around with the desktop stuff but I can't seem to get it working.
Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.1)

Hmm
What is the format of the DVD

You should be able to import through your DM.

i have no idea what format it is.. all i did was pop the dvd into the drive, then on DM drag it over to the BB part of it. It started to convert and copy over but after it finished it said that several things could not be copied. Then when I checked my BB nothing was there. I'm very new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated!

thats not how you copy a DVD, you need software to copy a DVD to a file system that the BB can read, DVD's all come in TS video files so you need to convert them to mpeg-4 or something like that. Usually takes about an hour to copy a dvd and convert it to a readable file system along with making it go from the original 4-8 gigs down to a manageable 400-800mb for devices such as the BB.
