Is the browser no longer usable because of the OS upgrade?? Is there a resolution for this issue? I know the issue lies with TMo users, but is it an issue for AT&T users as well?

It works fine with At&t
Did you Register after the OS upgrade? This is not always necessary but should help.
Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table>Scroll to the bolded entry hit "menu" and select "Register now".
You could also try resending your service books from At&t BIS:

Trouble upgrading an ATT 8300
First thanks for all the efforts of the more knowledgeable members. I just received an ATT Curve. I have been trying to upgrade the OS to the ST Vodafone, but can't seem to get it to work. I have tried on two different and can't seem to get the option to upgrade from the application installer. I can't seem to figure out what I may be doing wrong since I have successfully upgraded a 8800 following the same instructions. Here are the steps I have taken.
- Installed latest Desktop Manager
- Installed the Vodafone OS
- Unpacked the altered alx files
- Connect the Curve and start Desktop Manager
- Open Application Installer
Within application installer, I do not have the option to upgrade OS. Only Add application by browsing. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sounds like you missed a most crucial step, which is deleting the Vendor.xml file.

I would think so, possibly ... there is, however, a newer OS release with Chinese language support, and can be found here: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...5-chinese.html

I would actually think it won't. As you'll see in other responses in the thread, the 8300 OS won't work right on the 8310 or 8320. You need a model-specific release

There is another option which worked for me to install Chinese language support. I downloaded and extracted the Smarttone OS. Then in the Loader folder under the Smartone OS folder (and also the Java subfolder), I copied over all the stuff related to Chinese into the T-Mo folder (and matching Java folder). When I connected the BB and launched the App Loader, it gave me options to load the Chinese language pack and also the input methods.

Pretty snazzy, Roo. Forgot that this was an option ... however, the newest release also contains Chinese language support (see four posts up).

The link leads to the OS for the 8300 which won't work for the 8320 the poster was asking about. I believe the latest OS for the T-Mo 8320 is the 180 and it includes some T-Mo specific improvements for UMA. That's the reason I did it the way I did instead of simply using the SmartTone OS.
