Default Mass Media Storage Mode and Wallpaper

Please Login to Remove!

Did a search but found nothing related so I'm asking the forum for help:

I've recently decided to stop using the Roxio POS Media Manager to transfer photos to/from my 8300.

But, I've noticed that when the Mass Media Storage Mode is enabled, every time I plug my device to my notebook, it wipes my wallpaper in favor of the default background picture!

I use the Dimension Today theme and it works great for the wallpaper, but it's getting annoying having to go back and put the picture of my daughter back as the wallpaper each time.

Is there a way around this?

TIA...

It's supposed to revert back to your original settings at least that's what happens with the 8320...give it a few seconds b4 attempting to change it back

Copy the wallpaper and ringtone(s) you use to the device memory, then set the wallpaper/ringers up using those, not the ones on the SD card. The ringers show up twice in picklists with no way of knowing which one is which, so I move - not copy - my ringers to internal memory. Wallpaper doesn't have this problem as it doesn't use picklists.

You're right...it does revert back.

I was playing with the mode on and off before so guess that's why it didn't revert back to the wallpaper.

Thanks!
