Operating BES 4.1.3 on Domino 7.0.2; just as I thought things were good this one comes up, I have an increasing number of users around the world who are reporting that they are unable to delete mails on there handsets.
We default handsets to Delete On Handset. When a user deletes a mail either individual or "Prior" it seems to work but nothing goes.
I have tried resending the service books no joy, I have even taken one of the handsets and manually removed the SB's and resent from the BES but still no joy!

Any ideas

Those users that could not simply delete e mails I have found a full server reboot and manually remove service books from Handset then resend them, seems to partially solve issue, in that they can delete NEW mails but not old ones.

However I am no further forward with the new mails being displayed as ICONS

Have you tried re-registering them on the network?
(Advanced Options, Host Routing Table, Menu, Register Now?

Wil probably have to have to the users wipe and ea as this is a problem we have had (especially with the newere handhelds). Not the optimum resolution but it works.

Will try ythe re registering first before wipeing!! Will let you know how I get on

OK to keep you informed, the deleteing service books and reassigning them as well as re registering seems to have worked. BUT (as if you weren't expecting that!) All past e mails have dissappeared. I think that I can get these back by removing user from BES and re entering them then get them to re activate.
