Do you mind telling us what model Nokia headset you have. Also, have you used the headset over a UMA call for over 20 minutes without a problem?

I think I will give changing channels on my router a shot, I had it set to auto, which picked channel 1 by default. Just changed it to 3 and we'll see how it behaves.

What type of encryption is everyone using as well? WEP, WPA, WPA2?

I'm currently using WPA2 on this router. (dd-wrt firmware)

Don't think encryption plays much of a role in this as it seems really inconsistent with it's dropping behavior, but still would be interesting to see if there's something there.

Default This worked for me...

I was having the same problem with dropped calls using any of the 4 BT headsets I had on UMA. I read a thread here, or somewhere about turning off WAP and WEP and just using MAC restrictions to the AP. I am an IT security guy and that went against all that was holy in my world, but gave it a try and now all my BT headsets work while the phone is on UMA. I have a small amount of device that connect to the AP so creation of the list was not that big a deal for me. Another thing I did was turn broadcasting of my SSID off.

I'm using a Nokia BH-600. I was on a 1.5 hour conference call with it yesterday...

FYI: I'm on channel 1 on my router and using WPA2.

I tried all sorts of setting combinations, so far nothing works well with Bluetooth headset-Moto-H800.

You would think. But, they removed the check box to turn off the SIP ALG in the firewall settings on 1.05. My vonage fax line will not receive faxes with the SIP setting checked or with 1.05 (which has no ability to turn off)... I've tried it already and had to downgrade. My vonage lines all work fine on 1.03 with the SIP ALG off. I suspect it is an issue with my linksys voip adapter (I hate linksys), but that's what I'm working with.

This has been a long known problem in the computer industry as well.

just talked to my brother who's been an handset engineer with various companies (moto, eric, nokia, broadcom...).
There is no fix for this issue, it's not hardware or software issue, it's simply the sharing freq band around 2.4GHZ by Wifi and bluetooth.

I'm not buying the answer of this problem not being fixable. I've seen and used PDAs that have bluetooth in them as well as wireless and they have no issues with using both technologies at the same time.

On top of that bluetooth devices change frequencies 1600 times per second so I wouldn't think that it would be sitting on a frequency for too long to interrupt wifi communications. After all wifi is designed to handle momentary losses of packets in stride.

Here's a website that re-enforces my stance on this issue:
