From the radio screen select add station from the menu it will display a screen asking for station name and link. Enter the name of the station and the url in the link column. Select save it will automatically add ur station to the list. Now focus on your station and click enter or trackball. It will play the station .

Hope it will help you ?

@piusg: No worries m8, I guess, RIM will enable support for WMA streaming sooner - we are also working on alternative ways to somehow get XMOnline and Sirius (we even attempted to stream to our server and transcode to mp3 and broadcast it - but there were two major problems: 1] we apparently violated the TERMS OF SERVICE of both radios and 2] We got our servers burned - had to upgrade and our webhost was not happy with this - infact this was done as a part of private testing - consider what would have happened if our full customer base hits out servers )

Let us know any suggestions or feature you would like to see - we will try to accommodate it too.

Default Media player

Curve 8300 + Cingular + v4.2.2.89

I dloaded the multiplayer OTA and installed it.
Everything appeared to work fine, however only about the left 3/4 of the screen has stuff on it. It looks like the screen is compressed to the left side. I tried to adjust the screen setting but it didn't help.
Any suggestions here? Anyone else seeing this?

I also just saw there was a mediaplayer update so I dloaded it OTA (OTA: http://www.dollars5.com/QA1/mediaPlayer.jad) and got the following error upon starting the application.

Error starting mediaPlayer: Class 'multiPlayPlayerMainScreen.<private>' ref member out of range.

I also deleted it and tried installing the alx via desktop with the same error result.

I though maybe there was a conflict with the multiplayer program so i deleted both and just reinstalled the mediaPlayer but I get the same result.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,
DG

By the way I started using last.fm about 3 months ago so its nice to see support for this.

Default mediaplayer

Dollasr5 that did it.

The new version is working now.

Any idea why the screen compressed as described in my first post when using multiPlayer?

Thanks again,
DG

Try installing the new version of multiPlay from dollars5.com or shoot a email regarding this to support.

For this you have to stop the current playing station first. Select stop from the menu option it will stop the current playing station and you will be shown "connection closed " in the status bar (where it shows processing ...)
Now you can play the same station or different station without any problem. But make sure you stop each station before playing the next one.

Processing means its trying to connect and after that you will be seeing "successfully connected " followed by buffering if the connection has established without any problem.
otherwise it will show "connection closed" message if your network is not stable or it failed to estalish a connection with the station.

I had no issues with the OTA install on my 8100 with T-Mo. My APN settings are correct and I can stream NPR with no problem. A favorite stream of mine got up to about 90% buffer and then went connection closed. I changed the buffer size to 20,000 and 40,000 with no luck either. The links are below. Let me know if they work for you:

Hello,

The m3u is not a supported format in our mediaplayer - but be informed that we plan to support it sooner for streaming.

Btw: I was able to get the station streamed when I used this as the stream url - http://alt.liveatc.net/klax - it works great - I have the buffers size set at 60000.
