Question 8800 vs. 8300 Upgrade Question!

Please Login to Remove!

I am currently stuck with my old 7105t with TMo and looking to upgrade within the next 3-4 months...I have been following the release of the 8800, holding back the urge to splurge and BUY it already, until i realized the CURVE is out as well...

I was just wondering, the best kind of feedback is from people who actually have these phones...so any input as to helping me decide will be much appreciated...
I can only read so many comparison charts online before I just go mad...
THANKS!

OH and anyone know anything about the rumors surrounding the 9xxx? soon?

There are lots of posts about the devices. The 8800 may not be available for long, if it's still available at all. The 8800 has gps, no camera, no wifi. The 8320 has wifi, camera, and no gps.

Just depends on what you want.

could've sworn the 8800 had GPS, but is TMo not letting that fly or what...i dunno, but as far as the other posts, i just got kinda overwhelmed by people listing specs rather than giving personal experiences...but thanks for the help!

yes, the 8800 has GPS. However, you can always use a Bluetooth GPS puck if the device you choose doesn't have it built in.

John DID say that the 8800 has GPS.

Hit the Blackberry site (Blackberry.com) and look at the options for each device you are interested in. There is a option on the BB site to "Compare Devices". This is your best bet to see which one you would like.

I like both devices! They feel of the curve is a bit nicer not as bulky and in my honest opinion the key board is easier to use!

Both perform very well if you have the oppurtunity go to a store and play with each!

All things equal go with the Curve
