Upgraded to new tmobile OS and since ill intermittently have problems sending and receiving MMS texts. If I do a battery pull it fixes the issue but then reappears randomly. Called tmobile they only said to pull battery. Anyone know why this occurs?

Try deleting the MMS Service Book, and then resend the Service Books. Also, try sending one to yourself after that.

I used to have this issue as well. For me, it seemed to be less of an issue after I upgraded my OS to v4.2 for the 8700g. But even when I had gone back down to OS 4.1 for a while, I had no issues. I have seen other threads here about the same issue with T-Mobile users. When I have the issue I will send one to myself, and then it seems to work when I send it to others.

It's been an issue always for my 8100... Even when I got a new one because my girlfriend wanted mine so I didn't mind buying a new one for myself heh. Anyways, I've tried all the fixes for it... sending myself a picture, pulling the battery, and anything else tmobile customer service has tried to suggest to me but to no avail..it all only works maybe half the time...

Oh well...such is my luck I guess

In my case it's a blank message when I receive it and when I send it just won't send period..it's got a red X next to it. But I'm ok with just sticking to email since the people that I send pics with back and forth do so through the BB email or some other type of smart phone email

Did you try to reload your OS? That is always an option. Maybe somehting didnt install right when you upgraded.

Ok so I noticed a consistent pattern. If I pull the battery so my pic texts can send/receive. It works fine until I open a program that uses data ie opera both old and new versions and JiveTalk. If I never open anythin the pic texts work fine. Help!

Don't open Opera or JiveTalk?

Seriously, not sure.

Wow now randomly my phone acts like an outdated computer. Typing lags a good 4 seconds and everything loads ridiculously slow. Memory problem? Fix?
