Default Anyone else's 8300 playing music on it's own?

The other day my phone (Curve 8300, on AT&T if that matters) started playing music right after I got a text message. This was strange but I just went to the media player and stopped it. Then the next night my phone, while it was locked and in my pocket starts playing music at full volume. It was totally non responsive when I tried to stop it/turn down the volume, so I had to pull the battery.

Since I reset the phone it hasn't happened, but since I have no idea why it was happening I can't really say it won't happen again. Hopefully I can figure it out before it happens somewhere really embarrassing like in class, at a movie or in a library.

My question is, has this happened to anyone else? Is there some play button that I don't know about that works even when the phone is locked?

Never happened to me. Could be a defective unit, just go to the store and have them give you a new one.

How long have you had your Gizmo? Did you get it wet or feed it after midnight?

Seriously, if a reset took care of it, could have just been a flipped bit somewherez. If it was runing a microsoft OS I would have said, "you just experienced a microsoft moment."

I've had it since June, so I'm not sure if I could still exchange it.
It's never been wet as far as I know. I suspect it was just some strange software problem. I just wanted to see if it was something anyone else had experienced.
