A friend of mine, who is a bus dev guy (he trains the folks in the stores and such) sent me an email
"MSRP is going to be about $375 at launch. This device will be more than the Cingular version because of the extra features. "
For what it's worth....

my guess is that it's going to be $449 at launch. if you look at the pricing for tmobile they generally give you a $200 dollar rebate for signing a two year contract. so 449 - 200 gives you 249 then you get 50 dollar mail in rebate from them.
how can we find one of these business reps?

I have a T-Mobile rep for my business. It is because of her excellent personal service I am with T-Mobile. I have used AT&T (still have one line with them), Verizon and Sprint and love T-Mobile the best because of this rep. I had a phone stolen in Mexico, I emailed her to cancel the line, she emailed me back within minutes, had a replacement at my office when I returned! Wonderful service. Plus I don't want to say, but she charged me less for the 8320 than is being quoted here. Again, great service! Plus T-Mobile works great overseas, me being German, I travel back to Europe often!

Here is what I did - added a new line to my personal family plan for $9.99 a month (this line will use my pooled family plan minutes) and ordered no data service. The new activation is a one year contract. $35 activation fee is waived. Phone will ship Friday and I am supposed to have it Monday.
So, the phone will cost me $249 (as I am not eligible for the rebate as I ordered no data plan with this activation.)
The business rep told me that the deal I am getting is the same deal that will be available to the public on 9/24 using the code Crisambo posed in the above URL... Atlantic Express Promo Page .

Not quite. When I called them the first time (two years ago) and signed up my business with all my lines, they referred me to a local (Salt Lake City) rep, who comes by the office and takes care of you instead of you going to a store and talking to a different person all the time. She is great and has signed up some of my employees on their personal accounts as well! I usually never have to call the 800 number. I am sure that is how it works for others with corporate accounts here on this list.

This is pretty much my thinkin especially considering AT&T has it for the very same price. I'm cool with $450. I know how to handle the bill before I get it and that's pay it down.

just got the Curve today at T-Mobiles premier opening. Freee It's a nice phone. The UMA works seamlessly when it switches from WiFi to GSM. They said that it will be priced at $199.99 this monday to compete with AT&T's curve.

Is it basically like the AT&T version just with UMA? I'd like to mess with one at an AT&T store if it is.

So if I were to use the Atlantic Express promo, there's no way I could get around signing up for a new line? I have no use for an extra line. Thanks!

Check the http://www.blackberryforums.com/buy-sell-trade/ ... or get it as an upgrade when they start offering it . . . either way it's going to be higher priced than when you sign-up for a new line.
