Hi,

I just got a Jabra BT 5010 headset with my 8800. I can get them to pair and flashing blue indicators on the Jabra and the 8800 confirm they are paired, but the headset doesn't activate. It doesn't pick up incoming calls and remains absolutely dead (apart of the flashing indicator). Headset volume is set on maximum. How do I solve this one ?

Do you have another phone to pair it with to test? If it still doesn't work then I would contact Jabra support to discuss.

It works well with my wife's Nokia phone.

Have the same problem with a Plantronics headset. Pairs and connects ok, but no action after that. The Plantronics works well on other phones. Is there a setting that I'm missing ?

Don't ask me why, but all of a sudden, the headset started working. I didn't do anything, but who cares. Thanks all.
