Default Network Time - Application or Theme

Please Login to Remove!

Is there an application or theme which will show the network time on the home screen?

I know all about the BB's network time issue - in fact it's such a big problem that it inteferes with the ability to search for solutions or work arounds.

I find this "feature" of the BB to not have the option of showing network time to be a real problem for me as I travel frequently. I'm just wondering if there is an application which will pick up the network time and show it on the screen, perhaps as part of a theme or something.

I need it as well and sent a message to RIM asking for the ability to display network and home time. Maybe someone can help!

Why can't you just change the time on the Berry? Takes 30 seconds.

There is no "problem" with the way the berry does time. You need to simply tell the BB what time zone you are in. That's the way it works, it's not broken, so there is no "fix." It does it this way due to the integration with BES servers, BIS servers and computers for sync with calendar applications.

As for something that would simply display the network time rather than the BB's time, there isn't anything available for this.

I did not say it is "broke". I just want the option of displaying home and network time simultaneously.

How about automatic TZ change? Any ideas along those lines? I am warming to the idea of the device adjusting my appointments to local time once I select the TZ but don't think it should be manual. To many chances to fat finger it.

Because nobody can agree on this. RIM would be nuts to emplement auto time and/or TZ change.
