Hello

I have been following the examples in the BB pdf's and reading through the API's, but am confused about some things. I'm not so inexperienced with programming that I can't follow the structures, yet I am also used to working with binding fields with data tables, something I can't quite grasp here.

How does one save a text input without it being associated with a PIM? For example, I've developed a screen with editable fields, can input values in the text fields, but can't seem to save the inputs? The only example is with using PIM calls. I'm not wanting to create PIM applications, just data stored stuff.

I'm not very good at guessing, and a small example would be greatly appreciated if at all possible. Again, can someone please help?
