Default Is verizon coming up with a Curve anytime soon?

Please Login to Remove!

We've been hearing that T-Mo is getting curve, and ATT getting the other version, is VZ getting a curve anytime soon?
Thanks.

no wonder they suck. With only three lousy selections to choose from, they are not a priority in my list!

Yah, I was with them for a long time. They have a few things going for them: Excellent coverage areas, and great call quality.

But they are very slow on new phones, and they tend to cripple features that are native on the phones they DO get.

I left them and will never look back. AT&T/T-Mobile will allways get new phones first (being GSM helps here I beleive), and you can usually count on the phones working as intended by the manufacturer.

I totally agree on GSM part, while verizon may have the best coverage, in metropolitan cities, you really cannot go wrong with any carrier. Verizon is crippling their phones, and it is a fact.

Looks like AT&T might jump on the same board with disabled / limited GPS...

Most people dont, and I was just stating why I am glad I left. When I was with them I had no idea they crippled their devices. They don't exactly advertise it. The main problem I had was with their extremely slow migration to new phones. Sorry that bothers you so. You want great service everywhere you go even outside metro areas? Try AT&T ;p

Yah hopefully not, although its at least saying something when there is an uproar because its not the norm for AT&T. Nobody blinks when verizon does it. If they do go this route I just hope it doesnt start to repeat itself with future devices.

It was a suggestion, or did you not read what I said? Are you one of those people who 'just need a phone that works?' If you dont care about devices not working as the manufacturers intend, then stay content. AT&T has just as large a network and so far they havent crippled anything, leaving the choice up to the user on what they use and don't use.

But ATT doesnt get service where i need it like my house my job. And since I said I get gret servie why would I need to try ATT?

And no I am not one who just needs a phone. I use everything that is on my BB. It a business tool, and I dont need GPS its a luxury not a have to have. Besides thats what the expensive GPS toy in my truck is for.

But it looks like they are getting on the crippling band wagon too if you read the articles around.

So far its just hersay so we'll see. If at&t starts doing it then I will most likely try to stay away from them as well.

To be perfectly honest, if VZ had BB with Camera, I would go with them.

Verizon's coverage is good. There support is WAY better than AT&T. That alone keeps me away from AT&T. My users are on Verizon, AT&T and Nextel and as far as support goes, Verizon is the best of the 3 and AT&T is by far the worst. We had majority of our users on AT&T and now we are down to 3 just because of the lack of Customer service.
