I was trying to use my 8800 as the GPS receiver for Mappoint '06. Is there any drivers or software that makes this possible?

no, not at this point. The question has been asked and to this point there is no way to export the data to a computer. It would be a good feature though.

It should not be impossible though.. I'd think pretty easy for a skilled BB programmer that knows a little something about Bluetooth. This is the kind of program that someone could write and sell as shareware for $29 each and probably do pretty well with.

On a similar note, what I'd like to be able to do - now that google maps has the 'mymaps' feature, is to capture GPS locations while out, say in a city, then when home - import them into google maps and make annotations, etc.

If anyone has figured this one out.....I'd be very grateful.
