becuase my picture tike long time to open nad freeze the phone

how big is your picture? if it's several megabytes, it will be slow and could overflow your memory (be too big for your memory).

they are around 979kb is that too large i mean they take very long to load

That's not sooo big. It should be fine. Check the extension on the file ***.jpg, or ***.gif. I don't think you can open ***.png. You could try a hard boot (power down, pull the battery).

You're talking about opening email attachments, I presume.

no regular picture drag from my computer .jpg on to my phone then when open it on the phones takes like 45 seconds to open i just got my phone last week so still new
