Hey,
I own a Pearl 8100 and Every time I place/receive a call, about :30 to 1:00 into the call, the other person will just cut out, and they can't hear me, I can't hear them, and we'll stay "Connected" until one of us realizes that we can't hear each other anymore.
I realize it's probably an unfixable problem, but I forgot to get insurance on my berry so I'm not too sure what I could do besides buy another.
If you have anything that could help me, please let me know.

Which software version are you using?

I know when I upgraded my software to 4.2.1 I was having the same problem. Except for when I upgraded to the latest software version.

v.4.2.1.94; i thought it was the newest? If not could you please show me where the new software is. Thank you so much, thta'd be aweosme if it fixed the problem

That was happening to me untill I switched to a newer sim card. Now it works great

That is the newest. I have no problems with dropped calls using that software.

I have had the same problem since .94, sometimes I will hear clicking, full bars even. It is real annoying, especially when you talk fast like me and you get a good minute of talking in before you notice nobody can hear you anymore and thats just a lot of wasted breath..... catchin what im throwin?

4.2.1.96 is the newest. Go to the home page of the BB Pearl Thread to download it.

Sorry stupid mistake on my part, .96 is the newest, that fixes the dropped call problem from the previous 4.2.1 versions.

I have the newest and still get the dropped call issue where it all just cuts out for a moment until one or the other realizes that we can't hear each other. Mainly happens around my house which I think is just a service issue. TMo hates my house...

Call T-Mobile and have them file a service request for your home address. You might want to call in the morning US-time, though. For the past 10 days or so the evening/nighttime queues have been pretty bad.
