I have an 8700R through Rogers and I put the device and desktop 4.2 8700C software on it so that it is fully multimedia functional. Is there a way to get other themes like the Rogers Zen Theme currently in the advertising pics for the Curve?

Nope. Trackball themes will only work with trackball devices.
