Default Gmail & Yahoo - Who has both?

Please Login to Remove!

Just curious about how many Blackberry users have both Gmail and Yahoo accounts and why? I have both and use both.

Thumbs up Both

I use both and like them each for different reasons. Gmail has much better spam control and I can see "conversations". With Yahoo, I use different folders for different subjects and people in my email. They are both web based which means that I can access them easily and I like the ease of use with each one.

gmail for the power of it's breakthrough tagging (label) interface, brilliant filters/actions, conversation format, best-in-class spam filtering, and lack of restrictions like blocking POP3. also b/c it includes google docs, stand-alone maps, notebook, g talk (the stand-alone BB app is great), and web site analytics.

yahoo for mom to use to send cute e-cards with dancing cats to me - which inevitably results in junk mail. i find yahoo to be cumbersome and the ads ubiquitous and maddening.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I have both. Rate Yahoo over Gmail as if offers some privacy. Gmail being part of Google keeps all your mail & tracks you closely. Although I have nothing to be concerned about, I still dislike the super predatory nature of Google. From a great company awhile back to more sinister than big brother today. That said, like everyone I still like how Gmail works. Oh well, privacy is only a myth anyway.

I have both, but use Yahoo more. Mainly because I use Yahoo IM and I like the fact I get instant notification when I get a new email. I know Google has apps that does this, but that's yet another app I prefer not to install on my PC.

On my BB, I think the gmail app is a lot better to write emails on.

I use both, but prefer gmail to Yahoo. Gmail is my main personal account, while I use my Yahoo for more specific, other things.
