Well it has been an experience that’s for sure. I should have been more patient; I went out and bought the AT&T Curve as soon as it hit the shelves. I bought it for $449.00, then had it unlocked for $19.00 or something close to that (I don’t really remember), then bought a holster because AT&T does not ship the phone with one (what a rip). The 1st problem is there is no browser icon, after re-loading and reading countless threads on the topic, I finally downloaded O2’s software and did a few minor adjustments and changed a few settings and the browser finally worked (somewhat). I still get so many error messages when trying to view numerous web pages that I use to be able to view with my 8700. Then I tried to get rid of the PTT since we at t-mobile have no use for. That took me another few hours and countless readings on numerous threads. To be honest, I should have waited for t-mobile’s version. Now before my return date expires, I am now going to return the Curve to AT&T and just wait it out for our release of the next 8300 series for t-mobile. Now keep this in mind, this is my experience while trying to use the unlocked version on t-mobile. If I had AT&T then I’m sure you guys who have it might not be experiencing any problems what so ever. But for me, I love using t-mobile and I will now wait, that is what I should have done from the beginning. I just love buying new devises and trying them, so it’s hard not to jump at the next new BB. In the past with the older models when I unlocked them, it never gave me so many problems like the curve did.
Any other T-mobile customers’ agree with this?
