Dearest Blackberrians.

Hello from Australia.

I've had my 8700g for about 2 weeks now and even though it sounds like a cliche I don't know how I survived without it. It's given me a level of freedom I never thought I could exercise.

I have figured out most of the device very well. One question I have though is the theme on the Messages Screen that's hogging about 25% of the screen. All the other themes on the device are similar.

Does anyone know a theme I can download/buy which will allow me to reclaim this wasted space. A good example of what I am after is what is available in the Blackberry Browser where you can use over 90%+ of the screen with the signal, unread messages etc is just a thin strip across the top of the screen.

I've trawled through this site and can't find exactly the answer I am looking for.

In 4.1.0 the closest to what you're looking for will be the Dimension Zen theme, but that still has a header at the top.
The header is part of the core theme design, so you won't find any third party apps/themes that change it. The RIM made ones listed here How to Add Vendor Locked Themes - BlackBerryFAQ will give you an idea of the look of the header, but it's pretty standard size.
