Default BES 4.1 SP4 - next week?

Please Login to Remove!

I had been told BES SP4 was due next week and nothing has been posted on the BES KB, they usually release the notes prior so I would think this is now pushed back .. anyone hear anything different?

And might I add I think the new KB layout stinks, before you could see new articles and most popular, things fall off quickly now and have that crazy sort feauture.

Haven't heard anything yet on SP4 ... just means I'll have to go another 2 months without a BRK that'll be able to process logs :(

Speaking of KB's ... searching for them is still a nightmare. If I know a KB number all I want to do is put it in the search box and have it return a link to that KB ... what they heck am I doing wrong?!?!?

I just downloaded the 4.1.3 BRK today that actually has the rest of the utilities in it and I wonder if there is anything different with the messageflow utility. I use it daily to gather the amount of messages that our BES process and the amount of messages processed since we've been on 4.1.3 are about 50% less than previous.

Curious...

I think I'm not going to upgrade to the next SP until they release the Resource Kit for it.

It's included although it's just not listed in the documentation. It won't be supported out of the box with the current devices, although rumor is that it will be supported natively by OS 4.3.0 (Sept time frame with 8110/8120 release; optional installation module in Application Loader and will be installed by default) and an available add-on for OS 4.2.2 devices. But again, that's just a rumor. But nevertheless, don't hold your breath for support out of the box with our current devices, because it won't work. *sigh* (it was one of the toys I was looking forward to playing with).

Any word when this will be released? I asked T-Support, and of coarse they told me they have no idea, and didn't know it the documentation was posted.

No word, sorry.
