you can find it at handango.com when you search for pearl it should be located at the very bottom of the first page. I reccomend the trial version first just to make sure you like it. You can access internet your mp3's pretty much anything with just your voice.

I dont know what you looked at but its a flat rate of $6.00 and i have it on my pearl my carrier is tmo no problems. And it is compatable with sms texting. The way its works is you prompt SMS (name) BODY (paragraph). works like a charm.

YAY! ok... since it does work on T-Mobile, I give it a try.

I looked on the handango website and the only program I can find is located at this link
I have the same program, and handango charges me monthly. When I spoke to a CR from handango, he told me that there is a $6 charge per month to use the application. How long have you had the program?

That program requires the data plan. Sucks for me - i'm just looking for handsfree SMS messaging (I went to the Pearl for texting convenience - accessibility - the same reason for wishing for handsfree texting... and already sacrificed MMS messaging for the benefit of a "real" keypad ...urg).
...and that's how they manage the software on a subscription basis.
Also - Nuance's customer service absolutely blows!
I visited the website to inquire about the product - or the Dragon Mobile software that I read a third-party press release for.
..."contact customer service" requires (what!?!) a product ID and activation code - no general Email listed on the site.
So I called them.
And the first three times, was disconnected at three random points on their automated phone system. But I kept calling back.
Finally spoke with a customer service rep...
...who had no idea about the products.
But WAS armed with another phone number I should call.
...which was simply a long voice recording, prompting me to call the FIRST number for customer service or product questions. And then ended in a beep to leave a message.
Wow.
To me, this is the equivalent of opening a big retail store, then hiding the checkout in a darkened basement, behind a door that says "employees only" with a security guard standing in front of it... just sending the wrong signal
